YOUR ORIENTATION

BE WARNED!-  CONTENT LITERALLY CONTAINS HANDWRITTEN NOTES, JOTTINGS,  OBSERVATIONS AND THOUGHTS;  IT IS NOT WRITTEN MATERIAL FOR AN ARTICLE, ESSAY, COMPOSITION, OR REPORT.

The content I share here are my views and/or opinions. The notes only convey the show as seen through my eyes and what I get from it only.

This format may not work for everyone.

Basic format for each detailed episode is simple:
  • I bold type and/or underline (and at times highlight) words, dialogue/phrases and actions/events;  they may be potential clues, items of importance, or they are indeed an established continuing clue line.
  •  Additional bits of insight and commentary will be noted alongside details within my notes, and are defined with the use of {brackets} and/or (parenthesis).
  • Following the conclusion of each detailed episode notes you will find a list of "Things to note...Questions to ask..."
  • ... followed by the "Vocabulary and Research" segment; this segment gives you more insight and additional options to a potential clue.  I feel the more information you have, the better you can complete your own theory.
  • And finally, my commentary regarding the episode overall is noted at the end.
  • I screen capture or video capture many moments in time that may be and could be tied to clues; this includes screen captures in the slide show on this site.
  • Each episode entry concludes with my disclaimer.
  • I kept the original dates on the earliest episode posts- "Posted on MySpace x-x-xx".  These are the notes I posted over at MySpace on those dates and just moved over to their new home here at Karen's LOST Notebook.  I feel it is important to keep the original dates on them so you can see how far back those notes and ideas go.
Caution: I have been known to use salty pirate language while I take notes. Hey peeps, I'm just keeping it real.

I have been taking my notes in this format for many years.  Notes for each episode is documented with an unbiased approach. You are to make up your own mind and theories based on clues and information you gather not only from here, but anywhere you acquire your information.  It is possible you might find my theory woven somewhere in these notes.

Be sure to click the tabs for Data and Evidence as well as Instructing Further for a compilation of key notes.

    Most importantly... have fun!

Love to all who are "LOST"™

Disclaimer: I never claim to know everything about the show and my thoughts by no means make me right.  The things I share here are my views and/or opinions.  I don't claim to catch every single detail either.  I hate spoilers and stand clear of reading certain sites as to not take me off my own course of research.  The one thing I don't need to do here is rehash all of the obvious clues from an episode, we all know what they are.  Understood?  Good!  Let the fun begin!  I'll only note things that I know come up as clues later, but need to be noted when they first show up and things I find that will be of importance. It will get very exciting as we progress into the story.
