Let's talk about LOST! Missing Pieces 3: King of the Castle
Jack and Ben during daylight hours are playing a game of Chess.
They are in what appears to be a library or study with lots of books on shelves. Ben is in a wheelchair.
There are tribal masks and a black Vase/Vessel/Bottle/Jar behind Ben in the window. Coffee cups are on the table (Until I see a clear version of this mobisode, that what I think I see).
Jack sits very intently, concentrating on the game. While Ben seems very relaxed and plays the game effortlessly.
Ben- "So this must be strange to you."
Jack- "No. Been a while but my dad taught me to play when I was a kid."
Ben- "Actually I was talking about you being here. With us."
Jack- "I got what I wanted."
Ben- "It's been a long time since I had anybody with a little skill to play against. I don't suppose there is anything I could do to convince you to stick around."
Ben- (laughs) "Relax, Jack. Just an idle question. We have a deal. I fully intend to honor it."
Jack- "Intend to or you will?"
Ben 'Well it's not entirely up to me. If the Island doesn't want you to leave... it won't let you."
Jack- "What, the... the Island's going to sink the sub?"
Ben- "No. No. I promise you I won't do anything to prevent you from getting home. But if you do leave this place, the day may come when you want to return."
Jack- "Never."
Ben- "I've learned never to say never and if that day comes, I hope you remember this conversation."
Ben makes his move on the chess board and says, "It was a nice try though."
WOW! Great Mobisode!
Things to note...Questions to ask....
* Clues to remembering- Not Remembering
* 2 Sides. One dark, One light. Game
* Who IS the king of the castle?
* Are these two men really playing against each other?
* Are they on the same side?
* Who is the Rook?
* Is there a Pawn?
* Father.
* Strange for Jack to be there with them? Hmm?
* Jack says he got what he wanted. If he's referencing getting off the "Island" then he sure does get what he wants. Only there are devastating consequences to that decision. Is Ben trying to save Jack from that bad decision?
* It's NOT Ben preventing Jack or them from leaving the "Island".
* The "Island" is capable of NOT letting Jack leave, yet ultimately lets him go!
* Many of you are asking when is this dialog to have taken place? Before or after the sub gets blown up? "The Island is going to sink the sub?" comment from Jack just a coincidence? Or did this "event" happen already. If so, did Jack have an inadvertent Flash Memory of sorts?
You all know that I keep coming back to them doing ALL this before, possibly many times over. They just don't remember.
Maybe they have a sense of things being familiar, like with their "Island" surroundings, or understanding languages.
Are a few of them multi lingual or are the scenarios just familiar to them because they've happened before? Maybe both reasons.
Yeah, living things over and over like in the movie 50 First Dates.
Let's explore the following...
Explanation of castling:
Castling is a special move in the game of chess involving the King and either of the original rooks of the same color. Castling consists of moving the King two squares towards a rook, then moving the rook onto the square over which the King crossed.
The notation for castling, in both the descriptive and the algebraic systems, is 0-0 with the Kingside rook and 0-0-0 with the Queenside rook. Castling on the Kingside is sometimes called castling short and castling on the Queenside is called castling long; the difference being based on whether the rook moves a short distance (two squares) or a long distance (three squares).
Castling is in most non-English speaking nations known as 'Rochieren/Rochada/Roque', while 'long/short castling' are used in those countries to refer to 'Queenside/Kingside castling'. Castling is a relatively recent European innovation in chess, dating from the 14th or 15th century. Thus, the Asian versions of chess do not have such a move.
Castling is permissible only if all of the following conditions hold:
The King must never have moved;
The chosen rook must never have moved;
There must be no pieces between the King and the chosen rook;
The King must not currently be in check.
The King must not pass through squares that are under attack by enemy pieces.
The King must not end up in check (true of any legal move).
The king and the chosen rook must be on the same rank.
It is a common mistake to think that the requirements for castling are even more stringent than the above.
To clarify:
The King may have been in check previously, as long as it isn't in check at the time of castling.
The rook involved in castling may be under attack.
The rook involved in castling may move over an attacked square (a situation possible only with queenside castling).
Vocabulary and Research...
You all know I can't let things go at face value. I find that clue words have multiple meanings and there are "play on words". With that, I had to dig deeper. Of course I had too…I'm friggin insane!
We all know what the word DEAL means. I found these two definitions to be helpful too. Let's have some fun!! Weeeeeeeeeeee!
* Deal- a colloquial term for the loss of separation between aircraft while in the air, used by air traffic controllers.
* I must preface that the following information I found on Deal, a town in England BLEW MY MIND! This may be overkill in the clue department, but I had to follow through. I'm noting it here because it may have connections or it may just contain coincidences to our story, or I could be completely off the mark. Either way I found it fascinating. If it's not a clue we'll chalk it up to 'something new learned today'! Plus I'd feel bad that I wasted your time with this part. There was much more to note, but I feel I have to contain my insanity!
* Deal is a town in Kent, England. It lies on the English Channel eight miles north-east of Dover. It is a small fishing community situated between Dover and Ramsgate. Closely associated with Deal are the villages of Kingsdown and Walmer. Deal was named as a 'limb port' of the Cinque Port in 1278. The coast of France is approximately twenty-five miles from the town. {In Italian cinque means 5}.
Its finest building is the Tudor Deal Castle, commissioned by King Henry VIII and designed with an attractive ROSE floor plan.
During the 19th century, Charles Dickens was to comment on the character of the East Kent boatmen, and on one of his visits to Deal he wrote "These are among the bravest and most skillful mariners that exist". Earlier descriptions of Deal were much less favorable, with the town notorious in the 17th century as a location for smugglers.
Twin Cities/Town of Deal are Saint-Omer France and Vlissingen, Netherlands.
A renamed Deal served as the setting for the William Horwood book, The Boy With No Shoes.
The first home of the Royal Marines in Kent was established at Chatham in 1755.
Deal Barracks has become known over its long history as the Royal Marine School of Music, the barracks at Walmer consisting of the North, East and South (or Cavalry) barracks, and all were constructed shortly after the outbreak of the French revolution.
For me King of the Castle is a Missing Piece indeed! Again, if clues that I've pulled from episodes are the correct clues then this Missing Piece fits.

I don't claim to catch every single detail either! You all know I hate spoilers and I stand clear of reading certain sites as to not take me off my own course of research. The one thing I don't need to do here is rehash all of the obvious clues from an episode, we all know what they are. Understood? Good! Let the fun begin! I'll only note things that I know come up as clues later, but need to be noted when they first show up and things I find that will be of importance! It will get very exciting as we progress into the story.

THE ADVENTURES OF HURLEY AND FROGURT. MISSING PIECES 2
Let's talk about LOST! Missing Pieces 2: The Adventures of Hurley and Frogurt.
{Hurley comes out of a tent, looks around, checks to see if anyone is watching and then walks away from the tent.}
{Frogurt leaning on a tree, wearing a plaid shirt!}
Frogurt- "Hello Hurley."
{A bottle falls out of Hurley's backpack.}
Hurley- "Frogurt."
Frogurt- "It's Neil."
Hurley- "Neil."
Frogurt- "What are you doin' in Rose and Bernard's tent, Hurley?"
Hurley- "Nothin."
Frogurt- "Nothin', huh? {he picks up the wine bottle} Looks to me like you snagged some DHARMA Cabernet. {Cabernet is a French word.}
Hurley- {He takes the bottle from Frogurt} "Bernard said I could borrow it."
Frogurt- "Don't worry, bro. I'm not here to get up in your scene. If you wanna steal from Bernie, you steal from Bernie. I just have a question for ya. What's goin' on with you and Libby?"
Hurley- "What do you mean?"
Frogurt- "I mean, are you gonna make a move or not?"
Hurley- "It's none of your business, dude".
Frogurt- "Look, Tubby. You're holding up the line. You and I both know that you're not gonna get past doing laundry with her. So, how 'bout you back off and let a real man show her what's what."
Hurley- "Really?"
Frogurt- "Really."
Hurley- "Well... it just so happens that I'm way past laundry. Yeah, that's right. In fact, I got a date with Libby right now. We're goin' on a picnic."
Frogurt- "You got a date with her?"
Hurley- "Yeah. I'm bringin' the wine, she's bringin' the blankets."
Frogurt- "Well played, Hurley. Well played. But this isn't over. If you can't close with sweet Libby, it's "Neil time". Now, and forever." {He walks away.}
{You see Hurley thinking, and then walks away.}
I've gotten some feedback on some fans being disappointed with this Mobisode. A few have called it a joke or a waste.
I feel that these are "missing pieces", just as they're intended to be.
If these are missing puzzle pieces then look for the importance in these 2-3 minutes of clues. Ask questions! Have I taught you all nothing?! lol!
Here's a few thoughts that ran through my head...
* Frogurt is mentioned by Bernard in the episode S.O.S.
* Do Bernard and Frogurt know each other?
* The word "scene", "show" and "played", jump out at me.
* Play on words-Neil-kneel
* Why would Frogurt care what Hurley was doing in Rose and Bernard's tent?
* Hurley borrows a bottle of wine from Bernard...borrow, as if on loan? That's weird. Neil accuses Hurley of stealing from Bernie.
* Is Hurley stealing something from Bernard? Or someone else?
* What is Hurley holding up? Hmmm?!
* Is Frogurt next in line for something? Does he want to be next in line for something? There's a line.
* What is the important role of Bernard and/or Rose?!!
* Frogurt uses nicknames like Sawyer does. Hmmm.
* Does Frogurt want Hurley's role? What is Frogurt really out for?
* Frogurt, although has attitude, maybe jealous of Hurley.
Are we really talking about Libby as a hot chick here or is there another issue at hand? Maybe it is all about Libby? But this is LOST so...
Who is Frogurt, really?
If Hurley doesn't see his job done right, does that mean Frogurt will take over where Hurley didn't?
Just a few questions. I'm sure as I re-watch this Mobisode I'll have many more questions.
Have fun with these Mobisodes. That's what this is all about!

THE WATCH. Missing Pieces 1.
Let's talk about LOST! MISSING PIECES 1. THE WATCH
{Jack is throwing rocks into the ocean; wearing sunglasses}
Christian- "Whatcha doin there, kiddo?" {the camera turns to show Christian walking towards Jack on a beach. They are in front of the hotel}
Jack- "Just throwing rocks."
Christian- "Good! It's good you get all that rock throwing out before you get married."
Jack- "Well, it was either this or being inside with Sarah and the wedding planner figuring out where all the flowers go".
Christian- "Wise choice. Listen, before tonight, before...before things get crazy, I wanted to give you something. This was my dad's and I just- I thought it would only be fitting".
{Christian pulls a watch out of a white handkerchief}
Jack- "I've never seen you wear it before"
Christian- "Well, that's because I never did. Your grandfather... didn't really like... your mother. You know, he thought marrying her was a mistake. He told me- to my face- that, the day that I got married. And then he gave me this watch. So I never wore it".
Jack- "Dad, Are you trying to tell me something?"
Christian- "Unlike me, You have made the absolute right choice."
Jack- "Thank you."
Christian- "Oh here, it's yours."
{Jack puts watch on.}
Jack- "I guess this is really happening, huh?"
Christian- "Oooh, as soon as they arrange those flowers and you run out of rocks."
Jack- "Well there's a lot of rocks out here."
Christian- "Would you do me a favor? If you and Sarah ever have a kid, try to treat him a little better than I treated you."
Jack- "No pressure, right?"
{Jack's sunglasses are on}
Christian- "I'll see you inside, kiddo."
Jack- "Yeah"
Christian- "OK?"
Jack- "Yeah".
Vocabulary
Word of the day: WATCH
1). A watch is a small clock for wrist or pocket.
2). Act of guarding or observing
3). A period of guard duty
4). Keep vigil
* Is this Mobisode literally about a watch, a timepiece OR the act of watching, guarding, observing?
* Although we know that there are "TIME" issues with the "Island" and also the possibility of "time/space travel", in addition to that I see another connection to the guarding and watching over the "Island".
* Who is sent to the "Island" to watch over it?
* Are they all part of the guarding of the "Island" in some capacity?
* Do they take turns watching over the "Island"? Did Christian at one time guard the "Island"? Or is he still watching?
Also note the other clue words here. Are they clues to the "Island" itself? The Black Rock? Flowers/Orchids? Reproduction? Time moving different on the "Island"? Time changes?
Well there it is…The first of the Mobisodes. All we can do is wait, watch, see if they tie into other clues!

LOSTNESS and Notes!
Hi LOST fans!
It took me forever to get over here to share my LOST notes with fans at Blogger and the rest of the world. Friends have been on me to get things going over here for a long time.
Well, there's no time like the present. I really appreciate all the support I get over at MySpace with my episode clues notes. We have a lot of fun talking about clues and insight in each episode.
I'm happy to share everything over here, this way more LOST fans can have access to my LOSTNESS.
For those new to my LOST notes, they are all compiled written notes I have taken since the pilot episode. I have boxes and boxes filled with notes and research from clues I picked out of each episode. It is crazy that I have notes written in notebooks, scraps of paper, printed out research, books, the list goes on and on.
I will post some of the older episode clues notes here. Then I will continue on posting here in conjunction with the blog over at MySpace.
So, in the meantime, if you want to get a refresher on past episodes and check out some subliminal clues that may be useful in solving the LOST puzzle, feel free to read over all notes from every episode.
I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I am!
Love to all who are "LOST"™

The LOST Experience ARG
Let's talk about LOST! THE LOST EXPERIENCE ARG.
Posted on MySpace November 11, 2007
This information may contain spoilers! {I know, I HATE SPOILERS!}
The ARG was NOT spoilers for me or the fans who consider themselves active participants in the show. They were part of our investigation into everything. I just want to touch a little on what it was all about for those who did not participate.
In the summer months between season 2 and season 3, we were introduced to a wonderful hands on experience with our beloved show LOST. The LOST Experience was launched.
The powers that be over at LOST gave us an honest to god ALTERNATE REALTY GAME to immerse our entire heart and soul into! WOW, what a summer that was! It all began toward the end of season 2. Right there in our regular LOST episodes we were given tid-bits on clues in the "outside world". Clues were given not only in the episode itself but with commercial ads. Our wild goose chase (or was it a treasure hunt?) was on!
It was a constant flow of clues via TV commercials, print ads and links to the most amazingly elaborate websites. We searched and researched sites, books and documents. We discovered connections/identities to persons of interest. Along with all of this was the hunt for '"glyphs" and codes that were hidden all over the world. Then there was the search for video segments to an Alvar Hanso orientation video. We had to find and arrange this video in its proper order to view it to get the information. That was friggin fun! GOOD TIMES!
I cannot go into the whole of this project that we were part of, it would take weeks, possibly months, for me to detail everything for you.
In short we learned some info about Alvar Hanso and The Hanso Foundation. Also about the Hanso history, the creation of the Dharma Initiative, Gerald and Karen Degroot, The Black Rock, Apollo Candy Bars, Paik Heavy Industries, Widmore, Widmore labs, Widmore Construction, Widmore Industries, Connections between (what appears to be) Anthony Cooper involvement with certain companies, VIK Institute, Spider Protocol, Virus, Missing Organs, Global Welfare Consortium and so much more.
Keep in mind that even though this game made it fun for us to play detective we did not get all of the answers at all. But just like the show, we are shown and given info that points us in a direction of "something" and then from that MORE questions are raised.
A couple "special points of interest" for me are the following:
* The correlation of what the Dharma project was and the hatches on the Island.
* There are still clues to time and space.
* The Helgus Antonius: A hospital/container ship set sail from Sanremo Italy on July 6, 2006. We learn a few things about the ship including the fact of whose name is associated with this ship and that there are quarantine bays on the ship. But because I've become somewhat jaded, do I dare ask more questions about it? Like, what really goes on, on the ship? Hmmm?! {Wink, wink}
* In 1881, Magnus Hanso owned a company called New World Sea Traders. The Black Rock, a slave-ship, was lost. Magnus may have been the Captain of that voyage. After the Black Rock disappeared the New World Sea Traders was sold to a company called the East Ocean Trade Group. In the 1950s the East Ocean Trade Group was taken over by the Hanso Group. The Hanso Group renamed that company Allied Copenhagen Marine Merchants.
* Enzo Valenzetti and the NUMBERS: Princeton University mathematician Enzo Valenzetti developed an elaborate math equation born out of the global hostilities of Cuban Missile Crisis and the Cold War era's. We learned (and are led to believe) the numbers are the exact number of years and months until humanity extinguishes itself. Okay, that sounds…logical. lol. I was hoping that the numbers really were a math/scientific equation for the ability to make time travel or space/time travel possible.
* The Valenzetti Equation "book" was written by Gary Troup.
* The Bad Twin book written by Gary Troup. I'll leave it at that.
* The Battersea Power Station, located in Battersea South London. Power Station A was first built in the 1930s, and Power Station B was built in the 1950's.
* Because we learn there are also 5 hieroglyphs involved with the numbers and the Swan hatch countdown clock, could it mean something more?
Damn that creative team over at LOST is brilliant!
Here is the video that we got to put together. Enjoy!

Things to Note...Questions to Ask...
* How do all the above puzzle pieces fit together?
* How do the clues of The LOST Experience fit with the show?
* How do the clues we find throughout the show fit into the ARG?
* Does the show and the ARG even go together?
Even after this amount of overwhelming information we received I still don't know what is real and what is not real. Go figure. But I sure had lots of fun!
Questions and more questions. What does this all mean? I'll be damned if I know! I can't help but ask myself if I am serving a purpose with all my research to finding answers or am I just a victim of the tricks and foolery of the writers of the show? Either way, I have dedicated so much of my time to it; time I will never get back and I don't want back.
I wish we had a continuation of the game this year. It would have helped us through this long hiatus.

This information may contain spoilers! {I know, I HATE SPOILERS!}
* The Helgus Antonius: A hospital/container ship set sail from Sanremo Italy on July 6, 2006. We learn a few things about the ship including the fact of whose name is associated with this ship and that there are quarantine bays on the ship. But because I've become somewhat jaded, do I dare ask more questions about it? Like, what really goes on, on the ship? Hmmm?! {Wink, wink}
Enjoy!
