The Lie.

Let's talk about LOST! The Lie

Three Years Ago:

Frank takes two bottles of brew from the fridge (Skulls). Up on deck of The Searcher, Hurley is heard saying, “Dude, they’ll find out.”
Jack tries to convince him, “Not if we stick to the story.”
Sayid doesn’t know, “It could be a risk.”
Jack insists it’s the only way they have to do this. Kate holds Aaron. Wobbly Frank hands Desmond one of the bottles and asks him, “They’re still at it, huh?”
Jack tells the group that they’re running out of time; they need to make a
decision now.
Frank cools his neck with the bottle.
Jack wonders if they’re all Okay with this. Sayid feels this is a decision that will affect the rest of their lives; he’s not taking it lightly.
Jack makes the rounds asking if everyone is “in”. He even apologizes to Frank for getting dragged into this, but he still needs to know if he’s with them.
Frank will roll with whatever they decide.
Jack asks Hurley, “What about you?”
Hurley- “I don’t we should lie, Dude.”
Jack tells him they have to protect the people, “we left behind,Hurley.”
Kate and Sun are shown. In a subtle manner Sun reacts to Jack’s statement. Desmond and Penny sit with the group.
Hurley wonders how lying protects them.
Jack-"It protects them from Charles Widmore…The guy hired a boat load of people to kill all of us. He faked a plane crash, you think telling him the truth, he’s just gonna, he’s gonna leave them alone?"
Hurley turns to Penny and asks, “Look. He’s your dad, right? Can’t you, like, call him off?” {Like a dog?}
Penny informs Hurley there’s no calling her father off.
Hurley- “But, he’ll never find them. The Island disappeared. It’s gone. We all saw it. Bloop.”
Jack implies no one would believe any of that; they’d think Hurley was crazy. Hurley feels they would be believed if someone backs him up.
He reaches out for Sayid’s support. “Sayid, come on. They’ll think I’m nuts if I tell the truth, but what if we all do? And if we can stick together, they can make them believe us.”
Hurley doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life lying. Neither does Sayid; but he doesn’t believe they have a better choice.
Sayid-“I’m sorry Hurley, but we have to lie.”
This upsets Hurley, “You know what, Dude? I’m gonna remember this. And someday you’re gonna need my help and I’m telling ya right now, you’re not gettin' it.

Daylight:
Hurley speeds away with a sleeping Sayid in the blue SUV. He tries to “wake up” Sayid as he’s driving. In the erratic driving he tries to put on Sayid’s seatbelt. Hurley knocks over a bunch of trash. There’s a lot of eye blinking (open/close).
A police car siren from behind prompts him to pull over. Hurley frantically asks  sleeping   Sayid, “No. no, no, no, no! What do I do?”
He’s panicking, shaking sleeping Sayid and asks “What am I supposed to do?”
Hurley pulls over. {4DOQ678} Part of a cop is seen in side view mirror. Hurley closes his eyes and tells himself to stay calm.
Three knocks on the window; Hurley rolls it down.
Anna Lucia removes her sunglasses, “What the hell were you thinking?
Hurley’s a bit stunned.
Anna tells him he was driving like a maniac, “And why’d you pull over? “
Hurley stumbles over his words, “I just thought…”
Anna- “You didn’t think. What if I were real? What if a real cop stopped you? They already have pictures of you covered in blood with a gun in your hand.”
He tells her it's ketchup.
Anna-“Bro. You need to pull it together.You’ve got a lot of work to do.
He does?
Anna starts with the basics. “First off you need new clothes. Then you need to go to a safe place and take Sayid to somebody you trust. You getting all this?” {She literally shoved him.} Hurley gets it. Ana tells him to get to it, and stay away from the cops. She points her finger right at him, “Do not get arrested.
Hurley thanks Anna Lucia.
Anna puts on her sunglasses turns to Hurley and says, “Oh yeah. Libby says hi.”
Hurley looks in the side view mirror, the cop car  is gone.
Sayid slept through the whole visit. Hurley takes Anna Lucia’s recommendations.

Back at the beach Bernard and Rose bicker over the correct way to start a fire. {Don’t they know how to start a fire by now?}
Rose likes the rubbing two sticks together technique. Bernie’s tool looks more like a bow (bow and arrow).
Frogurt in his red shirt, doesn’t care about building a fire; he’s concerned about the sky lighting up. Rose explains they are trying to focus on what they can control; he should either help or be quiet.
Vincent is there.
Frogurt gives Sawyer his plaid shirt; since they’re/he’ll be dead by sundown and won’t need it. Frogurt wants to be called Neil.
Juliet fiddles with the zodiac raft. She explains the convenience of the raft not disappearing with the time jumping due to the fact that “whatever they had it with them when they moved was a long for the ride.” (Pretty friggin convenient! Then why doesn’t the tents and everything else count?}
Look whose back! Dan strolls out of the jungle and he hugs Charlotte.

Sawyer welcomes Dr. Wizard back.
Miles corrects him, “I think it’s Mr. Wizard.”
Sawyer wants to know what Dan was up to for the two hours he was gone.
Dan says he “was really lost.
Dan doesn’t know when the sky’s gonna light up again. Sawyer asks if he at least has a plan.
Juliet interjects, “I think we should take the zodiac, head to a shipping lane.”
No, they can’t just sail out into any course. For them to leave Dan needs to calculate a new bearing. To do this he needs to determine “where” they are now in time. Miles is going to find them something to eat.
Juliet-“I guess we’ll get the water.

{Shhhhh}
Hurley throws water in Sayid’s face in an effort to wake him up. He fears he can’t do this on his own. Sayid does not wake up. Hurley borrows some money from Sayid’s wallet. He puts a pair of sunglasses on the sleeping Sayid, “Wait right here.”
Inside the convenience store Hurley shops for new clothes. {I love my Wirehaired. Cheap Trick’s Dream Police plays in the background, “…They’re looking for me. Every single night. They’re driving me insane. Those men inside my brain….”}
Hurley purchases a I HEART MY Shih-Tzu' tee shirt.
The female clerk behind the counter notes his appearance, “Rough night?”
Yeah.
She notes his wasted friend in the car. The girl thinks Hurley looks familiar. Hurley feels he just has one of those faces.
She says he’s lying.
Hurley-“I don’t believe in lying.
The girl behind the register/counter remembers him as the lottery winner and guy who crashed in that plane. She’d like for him to purchase a ticket so that if he wins again they would get a commission. “Good luck.
The Action 8 News is on the TV behind her. Hurley hurries out of there; tells her to “Keep the change.”
Back in the car, Sayid still sleeps.
Hurley, sporting his new tee shirt tells sleeping Sayid, “We’re out of here.”
He drives through/between the “SELF gas pumps of the station and leaves.
He just misses Kate pulling in.

Kate turns off the car and takes her sunglasses off. She is troubled. Kate looks at a map.
Aaron’s in the backseat coloring,“Mommy, I wanna go home.”

Kate- “Look at your book, baby.”
She pulls up Jack Shephard 323-555-0156 (Contact) on her cell phone {Note search JA} she decides not to make the call. Her phone rings. As per her side of the conversation with the unknown caller, “I can’t believe it’s you.”
She and Aaron are going to meet a friend in L.A..

Ben unscrews the AC duct to retrieve something wrapped in plaid he’s been hiding there. He packs it in a duffle bag. {It looks like the same plaid shirt we see on "the island"}
Jack, clean shaven and in a suit, exits the bathroom searching for his pills. Ben took the liberty of flushing them down the toilet for him. Jack lies saying he was going to do that. You can see Jack needs the pills.
Ben tells Jack that he’s checking out.
Jack-“Where are we going?
Ben- “You’re going home. And find yourself a suitcase, if there’s anything in this life you want, pack it in there, because you’re never coming back.”
Jack- “Good.
Ben will pick him up in six hours. He informs Jack that John’s casket is outside in a carpet van, “I need to move it somewhere safe.
Jack- “Safe? He’s dead, isn’t he?”
Ben- “I’ll see you in six hours, Jack.” {Good answer!}

Mr. Reyes makes an interesting sandwich; pepperoni and caviar. A green bottled drink completes his meal. He sits in a cozy chair and watches Expose.
The background dialog: “It looks like the scorpion is taking over all Cobras' business. You want me to work with Tsunami the Dragon Lady of Van Nuys…..I’m here to capture the Scorpion. If you’ve got a problem with that you can go work stage 3...”.
There’s frantic knocking at the back glass slider door.   It’s casual Hurley carrying sleeping Sayid. Hurley asks if Dad’s seen the news. Dad hasn’t; he just got up. and mom’s out shopping.
They lay Sayid on the red couch. Dad/Dave checks Sayid’s eyes and confirms, “Oh man. He’s out.”
Concerned that Sayid may not be breathing, dad checks him. Sayid is barely breathing, but alive. Hurley explains Sayid was shot by a dart.
Dave- “A dart? What were you in the zoo or something?”
Hurley- “No. We were at the safe house."
Dad- “THE SAFE HOUSE?!”
Hugo explains Sayid took him there to protect him, then the two guys jumped out, shot him with darts and now, “He’s in a coma or something.”
Dave feels this doesn’t make sense, “What are you doing out of the mental institution?”
Hurley- “Sayid pulled me out!
He shares they’re both in danger; but doesn't know from whom. The front gate calls up to the house; it’s the L.A. P.D. They want Mr. Reyes to open the gate.    Dad wants to know what kind of trouble he's in. Dave covers for Hurley but wants the truth in return.   Hurley watches the cops and his father chat from behind glass panes in a door. {Yellow/ red/orange}
The two men leave a "calling" card with Dave and leave.
Dave questions Hurley, “You killed three people?”
Nope, Sayid did.
Sayid sleeps on the pool table.
Hurley proclaims, “He saved me.”
Dave suggests they call a lawyer; as they move sleeping Sayid to the couch. Hurley feels they can’t go public because someone is after them; although Hurley doesn’t know who.
But Sayid knows, “He can explain.”
They drop sleeping Sayid on the red couch. Obviously Sayid isn’t explaining anything. Dave feels they need to get Sayid to a hospital.
Hurley’s upset, “Did you not hear me?! People are trying to kill us.
If we go to a hospital, they’ll find us! …like the Godfather. It’s the last place you go, everyone knows it! They smother you with pillows, and make it look like an accident.
He tries to shake Sayid awake  again.
Dad knows the shaking isn’t going to work, “We need a doctor.”
Hurley-“I think I know what to do.”

Elevator doors open; Kate and Aaron get on at L.
Aaron asks “Mommy, can I push the button?
Kate-“Sure you can Sweetie. We’re going all the way to the top, Okay. So I want you to press 3-1. {31 floors. No smoking} There's total excitement over the button pushing accomplishment of this golden child.   Arriving at their destination, Kate rings the doorbell. Sun answers.

A female butcher chops meat in the shop. Ben enters and takes a “number” from the “next customer” caller. {342} The lady butcher, Jill, says hello to Ben, “If it’s a Porterhouse you're looking for, we’re out.”
No, no Porterhouse. He does however have something very important in his van and he needs her to watch it for him. Curious Jill wonders, “Is it what I think it is?”
Yep.
Jill assures “He’ll be safe with me.”
Ben asks if Gabriel and Jeffery checked in yet.
Jill tells him yes; everything is moving right on schedule.
Jill-“How’s it going with Shephard?”
Ben- “He’s with us.
Jill’s a bit shocked and wonders if Ben bribed him with some pills. Ben defensively says, “Cut the man some slack. He’s been through a lot. We all have.
Of course they have. Jill apologizes.
Ben tells her to “Keep him safe, Jill. Because if you don’t everything we’re about to do won’t matter at all.”

Night:
Bernard is still at it with his “bow” to start a fire.   Sawyer looks annoyed. Vincent sits.
Dan sits away from the group.
Finally, Bernard ignites a flame and then inadvertently blows it out. Rose is pissed. Annoying Frogurt asks “I thought you said you knew how to start a fire.”
Rose has words with Neil and tells him he needs to take a “time out.”
Bratty Frogurt huffs away. Rose supports Bernard in another fire attempt.

Charlotte brings Dan fruit she found in the jungle. Dan quickly picks up his notebook and tool; pretending like he’s in the middle of working on something. {Which he wasn’t} There were only two pieces of fruit in the jungle. {lol}
Charlotte can’t shake her bloody headache. She also reveals that her memory is fading. She shares with Dan that couldn’t remember her mother’s maiden name. Dan tells her they’ve all been under a lot of stress.
Charlotte- “Daniel. Do you know what’s happening to me?
Miles comes out of the jungle announcing “Dinner is served.”
He found a three hour old dead boar. Miles asks who has a knife. Frogurt sarcastically answers back, “….You need a knife. It’s over by the Cuisinart next to the stove.”
Miles asks what his problem is.
Frogurt’s problem is they don’t have a knife; they don’t have anything. And it wouldn’t even matter if we did 'cause Bernie the Dentist can’t even start a fire.”
Sawyer tells Frogurt to ease up.
Frogurt insists it Neil, “You inbred. And I’m not gonna ease up!”
Because he’s tried, hungry and they’re all screwed. {Sounds like a bratty kid!} Juliet tells him to calm down, they’ll get through this.
Frogurt’s freaking out, “How are any of us gonna get through this. Didn’t you hear what I just said?! WE CAN’T EVEN GET FIRE!”
Frogurt, literally on cue, gets shot with a flaming arrow.
Flaming arrows rain down on the beach.  The rest run for safety.   Charlotte falls and Dan helps her up.
Juliet frantically tries to put the flame out on a man who was shot. Sawyer tells her he’s dead {She says No}. They run, but she wants to go back to that guy. {Why did she want to help this dude so badly?} There’s nothing she could have done. {The beach now has plenty of fire.}

Hurley looks out the window. He sees that the cops are on a stakeout.
Dave-“You just escaped from a mental institution! There’s dead bodies everywhere! Of course they’re on a stakeout! They think you’re crazy enough to come back home.”
Dad asks Hurley if he's crazy. Dad feels either he is crazy or he’s lying to him.
Hurley reveals he’s not crazy and he has “a really good reason I’m lying to you.”
Why?
Mrs. Reyes loudly asks “Why’s there a dead Pakistani on my couch?”
He’s not dead, although he appears to her to not be breathing. Hurley freaks out! Dave tells Carmen it’s okay, they have a plan.
Hurley checks Sayid; he’s kind of breathing. Carmen wants to know why Hurley's all over the news. Hurley promises to her that every thing’s gonna make sense.
Mom tells him it better!

Mr. Reyes drives down the road right past the officers. {Camaro in garage.}

Kate pours tea for Sun. Sun is in L.A. on business. Sun shows Kate a photo of infant Ji Yeon.; she’s with her grandmother in Seoul.
Aaron sleeps on the couch. Sun would like Kate to meet her. It would be nice to see Ji Yeon and Aaron play together.
Troubled Kate tells Sun, ”Somebody knows we’re lying.”
Kate shares the story about the two men who came to her house asking for a blood sample for paternity.
Sun asks who the lawyers represent. Kate doesn’t know who their client is.
Sun-“Then they’re not interested in exposing the lie.” Because if they were, they would just do it; they wouldn’t go to her in private.
Sun- “They don’t care that we’re lying. They just want Aaron.”
Sun advises she “take care of them.”
Sun-“Wouldn’t you do anything you had to in order to keep Aaron?”
Kate-“What kind of a person do you think I am?”
We "Flash" to Kate offering to retrieve Jin on the freighter and Jack preventing Kate from doing so.
Sun-“The kind of person who makes hard decisions. Like you did on the freighter.”
Kate did what she had to do. If Kate hadn’t, they probably all would have died instead of just her husband. Sun doesn’t blame Kate.
Sun wonders, “So. How’s Jack?”

Mr. Reyes tells Jack, “Hugo said I can trust you.”
Dave pulls back a colorful blanket/carpet to reveal sleeping Sayid. He tells Jack Sayid got hit with some dart, “Must have been some drugs or something.” {Really?!}
Dad informs Jack that Hurley’s at their house, “freaking out.”
The two men move Sayid to Jack’s car so he can take him to the hospital.
Concerned Dave tells Jack, “No. Hugo said whoever did this will come back after him."
Professional Jack insists he will do what’s best for Sayid.
Dave says fine, but in return after all this is over he’s to stay away from Hugo. “Whatever it is you talked him into, something tells me you don’t have his best interest at heart. So stay away from my son.” {Jack is showing signs of needing a fix.}

Jack pulls up to the hospital with Ben on the cell phone.
Jack-“You’ll never guess who just showed up at my door.”
TADA….Sayid!

Carmen asks Hugo, “Who is Sayid? I thought he was your friend.” {Gives him a bottled drink.} Sayid is his friend, but he’s got this double life where he does crazy Ninja moves and spy stuff; but Sayid’s a good guy.
Mom reminds him a good guy doesn’t kill any men. Carmen tells Hugo he’s in terrible trouble. If the news thinks he did this, then everyone does. She asks why this is happening. How could anybody want to hurt him. She wants the truth.
Hugo breaks,“We lied, Ma….All of us. The Oceanic 6, we lied about what happened after the crash.”
Carmen asks what did happen.
Hugo- “Okay. See we did crash. But it was on this crazy island. And we waited for rescue and there wasn’t any rescue. And then there was a smoke monster. And there were other people on the island, we call them the Others, and they started attacking us. And we found some hatches, and there was a button you had to push every 108 minutes or… well I was never really clear on that. But, the Others didn’t have anything to do with the hatches, that was the Dharma Initiative. They’re all dead, the Others killed them, and now they’re trying to kill us. And then we teamed up with the Others because some worse people coming on a freighter. Desmond’s girlfriend's father sent them to kill us. So we stole their helicopter and we flew it to their freighter, but it blew up and we couldn’t go back to the island because it disappeared. So then we crashed in the Ocean and we floated there for a while until a boat came and picked us up. And by then there were 6 of us. That part was true. But the..but the rest of the people, who were on the plane. They’re still on that island.”
Carmen believes him, but she doesn’t understand him.
He tells her a lot of people died and now this bad stuff is happening because…”well, um, we shouldn’t have lied.”

In the dark Sawyer gets something jammed in his bare foot. They should keep moving as they have to hook up with everybody at the creek.
Juliet-“It’s a long creek James. Which part?”
The wet part of course! He’s sorry his plan isn’t up to Other’s stan….
They hear/see people walking in the dark jungle.
Sawyer asks Juliet, “Who are those people? Are they yours? Did they shoot the arrows?”
Juliet- “I don’t know. You want me to crawl out there and ask them?”
They are grabbed by the armed people!
Jones demands to know, “What are you doing on our island?

Jack puts Sayid in a treatment room at the hospital. {Oxygen tank shows #’s 2 4 6 8 10 12 15} Jack puts ECG leads on Sayid's chest and tries to revive him.   He gives him a shot but nothing’s bringing him back to being conscious. Jack flashes the light in Sayid's eyes. That does the trick in bringing Sayid back!
Sayid jolts awake and impulsively chokes Jack. The choking stops.
Jack pours some cold water and tells Sayid he’s fine and in the hospital, “Hurley’s father brought you to me. Sayid, you’ve been attacked.”
Sayid is concerned about Hurley and who else might know that he’s with the parents at their house.

A sleeveless hot pocket is cooking in the microwave.   Ben surprises Hugo with a visit. Ben just appears!
Startled Hugo throws the hot pocket at him. Hugo’s freaking! Ben is there because he knows he’s in trouble. The police didn’t see him come in.{Some stakeout, huh?!} Ben can get him out of there.
Hugo shares that Sayid warned him about Ben.
Ben tries to convince him to go with him to Jack and Sayid. “How else would I know that they’re together?”
Hugo- “No. You’re playing one of your mind games. They’d never trust you.”
Ben agrees in their defense, “I’m not an easy person to trust. But they came around when they realized that we all want the same thing…..To go back to the island. Come with us Hugo. And this will be over. You can stop hiding. You can stop worrying about the stories and the deceptions. If you come with me, you won’t ever have to lie again. Please, let me help you.”
Hugo- “Never, Dude.”
Hugo runs away from Ben purposely into the waiting arms of the police. He confesses to the murder of four people, uh three people. He just wants to get out of there. Hugo smirks.

Jones wants to know “What you’re doing? How many there are? And how you got here.”
Jones tells Sawyer to tell him everything or he’ll cut off her other hand. The first one/hand isn’t negotiable; it’s just to illustrate how serious he is.
Sawyer tells him to chill out, “We’re not supposed to be here. Something’s happening to the island, there are these flashes.“
As they near cutting off Juliet’s hand, Sawyer says he’ll tell them whatever they want to know. Sawyer and Juliet over take them; a knife is thrown!
There’s Locke, “James. Juliet. Nice to see ya.”

We discover Mrs. Hawking is working on equations on a chalk board. A pendulum swings back and forth. An old Computer beeps. {Dharma notebooks on shelf}
Upstairs in a church, Ben lights candles.
She’s had luck.
Ben explains to her he’s having some difficulty. Hawking informs Ben he only has 70 hours. Ben feels that’s not enough time; but 70 is what he’s got. Ben’s concerned because he lost Reyes tonight., “So what happens if I can’t get them all to come back?"
Mrs. Hawkings- “Then god help us all.

Things to note…Questions to ask…
✦ Shhhh(tzu)…Sleep. Knocked out…Drugged up. Dreaming.
✦ Time limit.
✦ The light Jack flashes in Sayid’s eyes seems to have finally awakened him.
✦ Appears to be dead…But is NOT!
✦ The “Island” residents are able to interact with people/events when time is “skipping“. They are not just observers.
✦ Lady/Jill butcher. Charlie’s father- butcher.
✦ Hurley does the opposite of what Ben asks him to do. But Anna Lucia told him not to get arrested.
✦ Frogurt’s shirt that Sawyer wears looks a lot like the plaid fabric worn by Pierre Cheng.
✦ Family ties are all over this episode. Lineage. Aaron. Ji Yeon.
✦ Jack believes that Widmore is behind everything. Is there more to the story? Who is really behind everything? What are we really seeing?
✦ The sky now lights up, it doesn’t turn purple.
✦ Language. Linguistics. Learning. Growth. Enlightenment.
✦ Island. Disappeared. Gone. Bloop. Is it really gone?
✦ Crazy. Mental Health. Maniac. Memory loss. Headache.
✦ Anna Lucia… gone… not gone. Libby says hi. Anna has physical contact with Hurley, as did Dave and Charlie, and possibly Eko.
✦ Real. Not real. Play a role. Ketchup looks like blood.
✦ The color blue surrounds Hurley when he's with Sayid. His parent's house-red
✦ Where does Frank fit in all of this?
✦ If Frogurt dies in the bow and arrow incident, what is the time frame he is really with Hurley in the missing pieces clip? More time out of order? Or things are changed? Because we are told that “What ever happened, Happened”.
✦ What makes some of these people such special cargo? Bred? Inbred.
Cattle, beef, meat, butcher. Live stock.
Some people seem more like guides/advisors or persons there to put certain things in play.
✦ DNA. Eggs (yoke and white. Eggs-embryo.) Test. Biology. Parentage. Heart.

Vocabulary and Research...
Dramaturgy: is a sociological perspective stemming from symbolic interactionism. I don’t do this, but this is too interesting to not pass along, and it was too much for me to transcribe…Head to this link:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belief_(sociology)#Performance
Blue: is a color. Blue can be a state of mind.
- In Hinduism, Blue is used to symbolically represent the fifth, throat chakra. Many of the gods are depicted as having blue-colored skin, particularly those associated with Vishnu, who is said to be the Preserver of the world and thus intimately connected to water.
-The Missing Shade of Blue is an example introduced by the Scottish philosopher David Hume to show that it is at least conceivable that the mind can generate an idea without first being exposed to the relevant sensory experience. It is regarded as a problem by philosophers because it appears to stand in direct contradiction to what Hume had previously written.
Zeno's paradoxes are a set of problems generally thought to have been devised by Zeno of Elea to support Permenides’s doctrine that "all is one" and that, contrary to the evidence of our senses, the belief in plurality and change is mistaken, and in particular that motion is nothing but an illusion.
Godfather: - A man present at the christening of a baby who promises to help raise the child; A male godparent who sponsors the baptism of a child.
-A small post which is used in repairing a fence. For instance attached to and supporting an existing broken fence post.
-A mafia leader.
The Believers is a novel by Zoe Heller.
Bloop- The Bloop is the name given to the ultra-low frequency underwater sound detected by the U.S. N.O.A.A. several times during the summer of 1997. The source of the sound remains unknown. The sound, traced to somewhere around South American southwest coast, was detected repeatedly by the Equatorial Pacific Ocean autonomous hydrophone array, which uses U.S. Navy equipment originally designed to detect Soviet submarines. According to the NOAA description, it "rises rapidly in frequency over about one minute and was of sufficient amplitude to be heard on multiple sensors, at a range of over 5,000 km." According to scientists who have studied the phenomenon it matches the audio profile of a living creature but there is no known animal that could have produced the sound. If it is an animal, it would have to be, reportedly, much larger than even a Blue Whale.
- Bloop- In the ARG for the movie, the Bloop was also linked to
Cloverfield monster.

- Because the Bloop noise originated near the location of the fictional sunken city of R'lyeh from H.P. Lovecraft’s story “The Call of Cthulu, Bloop has been linked to Cthulhu by the authors fans.

The Lie is a GREAT EPISODE!!

There is more than one lie going on here. There are many lies at work. Who could be lying besides the obvious people? Cheng? Ben? Mrs. Hawking? Dan? Sun? Who else?
I’ve wondered this before... is it possible that Hurley is the one seeing more clearly at this point. I guess I have to wait and see how it plays out.

Excuse me now I believe I have to go find myself.

Love to all who are "LOST" ™

The Butcher is next door to the funeral parlor.

Disclaimer: I never claim to know everything about the show and my thoughts by no means make me right! The things I share here are my views and/or opinions. I don't claim to catch every single detail either! You all know I hate spoilers! And I stand clear of reading certain sites as to not take me off my own course of research. The one thing I don't need to do here is rehash all of the obvious clues from an episode, we all know what they are. Understood? ! Let the fun begin! I'll only note things that I know come up as clues later, but need to be noted when they first show up and things I find that will be of importance! It will get very exciting as we progress into the story.
