Let's talk about LOST! What Kate Did.

Jin and Sun emerge from their tent from an obvious happy reunion.


Hurley gives them his approval; thumbs up. Sun looks over to see Sayid is digging a grave for Shannon.
“Sorry, man I know this hurts” Jack says to semi-unconscious Sawyer. As Jack tends to his shoulder he speaks as if Sawyer can hear him. “Michael told me you pulled the bullet out with you bare hands. Have to show me how to do that sometime.”
Weak Sawyer whisper mumbles something. Jack didn’t hear it so sawyer repeats, "Where is she?"
Jack assumes he means Kate and informs him that Kate's been watching over him 24 hours straight. The only way he could get rid of her was to send her out to get Sawyer some food. Sawyer whispers, "I love her". I think Jack knows that's the truth.

In the jungle Kate is up in a tree on a branch picking fruit/Mango. She slides down the branch, dropping 3 Mango and when she picks them up, behind her she sees a beautiful black horse. {Damn that chick is strong!} When she gets up the horse gallops away.
{Flash Whoosh}
Kate is sitting on the steps of the house playing with a lighter. It is nighttime. She is wearing a Janis Joplin t-shirt. {A song plays something about Alabama-I think} A pickup truck pulls up and drunk Wayne gets out asking “Hey, girl. What are you doing here?” {He’s wearing a damn plaid shirt!}
When they enter the house apparently he smells something.
Kate-“Probably your breath.”
She puts him to bed. As Kate is removing his shoes he goes on about how beautiful she is. Creepy, indeed.

Kate exits the house, gets on her bitchin' motorcycle and the house explodes behind her. {What a rebel!}


Kate enters a small diner and the waitress offers her “coffee, pie, both?” Kate orders a beer. The waitress is Kate’s mother, Diane. Katherine is 24 years old.
Diane would like to see some I.D.   Diane realizes Kate drives around on that deathtrap but she is not going to help her "cause" by getting her drunk. {Kate has a "cause"? WOW!} Kate asks her about her left wrist. Diane blames the injury on a shelf she forgot was there and she banged her wrist.
Kate tells her, “Don’t” {we are to believe her husband is abusive.}
Diane-“I made my bed, Katherine.”
Kate informs mom that her bed is gone. Kate presents her mom with an insurance policy she took out on the house for her; in her name. At first Diane seems pleased but then realizes there’s something wrong.
Diane- "What did you do? Does Wayne know about this?"
Kate- “Just remember that you were here and you didn't see me, OK."
Diane demands to know, "What did you do?"
Kate- "I took care of you, ma. I gotta go. You're not going to see me for a while."
Diane is stunned. Kate hugs and kisses her goodbye. {The song 'The End of the World' is playing in the background}
Diane continues to ask, “What did you do?”
{Flash Whoosh}
Kate returns to the hatch to find Jack  putting cool compresses on Sawyer’s head.  He asks Kate if she’s okay. Kate thinks she’s just getting tired.  Sawyer still has a fever and Jack can’t tell if the antibiotics are working but it will help to get some food in him.  Jack suggests she get down to the beach for Shannon, but Kate would rather stay and watch Sawyer.  She feels Jack should be there {for Shannon}.   Jack says OK and instructs her to keep Sawyer hydrated, mash up some fruit and see if she can get him to eat it, everybody will be at the beach so don't forget the button. Kate’s got it. Jack will be back in a couple of hours, “You’re sure you’re okay.”
Kate smiles and says she’s great.

At the beach Eko and his stick walk over to Ana Lucia who is banging a stick into the ground. Ana is living at their camp. {WTF? Who invited her? I thought she was going to live alone in the jungle! She sent Michael for supplies and socks! Bitch!}
Eko tells Ana that he's going to the funeral.
Ana-“I don’t think I’m gonna make it.” {Doh! Is that a Freudian slip?!}
Eko wants her to know he thinks most of them realize it was an accident. Ana continues her solo work with her stick.

Everyone gathers for Shannon.
Sad Sayid {wearing a collar polo shirt} speaks at the funeral. “Shannon and I were strangers. We never would have met if…we wouldn’t even have spoken if… But we did meet and we did speak… At least…I loved her.” He cries and walks away.
Jack takes a handful of dirt and pours it onto Shannon's body, "May she rest in peace".
They all follow Jacks lead/action. {Locke is next}


Kate put on a Patsy Cline {Walking after midnight} album on the record player; it makes her smile. Kate talks to unconscious Sawyer about mashing him up some fruit.
Kate-“When you wake up you're gonna get a kick out of me feeding you like a baby. I saw a horse. Yeah, that’s what happens when you don’t sleep.”
Sawyer starts to stir and whisper mumbles something.
Kate leans over him asking if he’s awake and Sawyer wakes up, chokes her and says "You killed me. Why did you kill me?!"
{Let’s remember that for another time.}








Jack and Locke get back to the hatch to Kate’s record having ended {needle just dragging} and the alarm beeping but Kate isn't there.





Locke enters the computer room with 22 seconds to go and enters in the wrong number and has to re-enter them {putting 22 for 23}.
Sawyer is on the floor; Jack checks his pulse.
Jack lifts Sawyer back into the lower bunk.
Locke wonders, “Where’s Kate?”



Kate walks through the jungle as Charlie happens by.  He notes she missed the funeral, "A few of them came, the new people. Not her, the one who killed Shannon that would have been a bit awkward.  Seemed to have had a rough time of it.  Looks like they went bloody Lord of the Flies out there." {Watch Kate here}
Kate hasn’t listened to a word Charlie said because she looks zoned and appears as if she’s seeing something for a second.
Kate- “Do you think there are horses here?”
She shares she thinks she saw a horse in the jungle.
Unimpressed Charlie- “Seen polar bears. Seen Monsters, well, heard monsters, but…horses…no.”
Kate just heads off.
Charlie- “Kate! Where are you going?!”
{Flash Whoosh}
Kate is at the bus station, at the window buying a one way ticket to Tallahassee.  The marshal/Edward is behind unsuspecting Kate on line and just chats from behind, "Tallahassee. I spent a week in Tallahassee one night" {1 Week= 1 night. WTF?! Time traveling?! lol} it’s all strip malls and waffle houses. What's a pretty girl like you going to do down in Tallahassee?”
Kate, never turning around answers, “I’m sure I’ll find something.”
The marshal/Edward- “Bet you've got family down there."
Kate turns to him, “Actually I’m just visiting.”
Edward- "Hey. Hey. Don't I know you? {Kate looks around and gets nervous and starts to leave. He grabs her arm} Don't run Kate.”
Kate hits him and tries to run. The marshal grabs and cuffs her, “Kate Austen, you’re under arrest for murder.“
Kate- “I didn’t do anything.”
Edward- “Oh yeah you did. Your mama gave you up, Kate." {She looks confused.} He walks her out.
{Flash Whoosh}
Charlie is playing guitar by the campfire.   Jack comes over and asks him if he's seen Kate.
Charlie-“Ahhh… a little while ago in the jungle, she was acting kinda balmy asking me about horses on the Island.“
Jack asks where she is now.
Charlie-"She's on the path heading back to the caves."  {Path to caves hmmm…}

Locke frees Jin of his one handcuff.
Jin says "Thank you" in English of course.
Locke smiles, "Free at last, huh.”
{Timer- 79}
Happy Jin shows Michael the removed cuff.
Michael smiles-"Yeah man, looks good."
Jin smiles (because he understands) and walks on. Michael is feeling around the door frame and asks Locke, “What’s up with the blast doors?”


Locke seems surprised "Blast doors?"
Michael-“Yeah. Like in case of an explosion, they come from the ceiling. That guy down here, uh…Desmond. He didn’t tell you about these, what they’re for?”


Locke checks them out. “No. No he didn't. But he did leave a movie. {Movie?} Yeah. Wanna see it?"
Out of nowhere Eko says he would like to see it too; if they don’t mind.  Locke feels the more the merrier!








{Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE MATTHEW FOX! Yes, if he and I were single and this was another time and place, I would hope that the Island gods would bless me with Matthew Fox. LOL! I'm sure I just gave you all a good laugh! But hey, my fantasy aside….I find this to be the most tender loving scene in Lost episodes so far. I watch this scene and I am moved…..and friggin jealous! HA!}

Kate sits alone in the jungle looking troubled and lost; she hears something.
It’s out of breath Jack and he's a little upset with her. He wonders what the hell she’d doing out here, “What happened in the hatch, Kate? Why’d you leave? I come back I find Sawyer just lying on the ground, you just took off…”
Kate- “He okay?”
Yep, he’s fine.
She says she's sorry.
Jack-"Are you?" {WTF, Jack? She just said she was!}
Kate gets fired up-“Yeah, I'm sorry. I’m sorry that I'm not as perfect as you! I'm sorry that I'm not as good!"
Jack wonders, “What’s going on with you?”
Kate tells him to forget it and walks away.
Jack grabs her arm and pulls her close, “No. No. No. Don’t walk away from me.”
Kate struggles to be free and starts to break down. Jack hugs her tight seeing she needs it badly. “It’s OK. It’s OK.”
Kate-"This place, this place is crazy. I can’t… It's driving me nuts." {She’s crying}
Jack looks into her eyes and tells her it's OK.
Kate, with her innocent child like face, kisses Jack! Then almost like a light bulb goes off, she pulls away and runs away; seeming as if she’s done something wrong.
Jack is left Kate-less. Lol {I have no right to call myself an actor after watching this cast! They are all an inspiration to me.}




At the hatch Eko and Michael are watching the orientation film while Locke watches them watch the movie.


“From the moment the alarm sounds you will have 4 minutes to enter the code into the microcomputer {Edit} induction into the program. When the alarm sounds, either you or your partner must input the code. It is highly recommended that you and your partner take alternating shifts. In this manner you will stay as fresh and alert {Edit} utmost importance that when the alarm sounds the code be entered correctly, and in a timely fashion. Do not attempt to use the computer {Edit} for anything {Edit}. Congratulations. Until your replacements arrive, the future of the project is in your hands. On behalf of the DeGroots, Alvar Hanso and all of us at the DHARMA Initiative, thank you. Namaste. And good luck.”

Michael holds his head and is looking a bit baffled. He asks Locke, “Alright. So, you’ve been pushing that button every two hours since you got down here?”
Locke confirms.
Michael-“How does that even work?”   Eko listens carefully.
Locke- “I set up two person shifts, six hours. Everyone’s on their roster.”
Michael- "Don't they want to know why?"
Locke- "I think the film's pretty self explanatory."
Michael- “Really?! All I heard was something about electromagnets and an incident. What about all the missing pieces?"
Locke- “Oh you mean the splices. Yeah, just a frame here and there I think, nothing important. What do you think? About the film, what do you think?”  {He asks staring Eko.}
Silent Eko with his stick just stands up and dramatically walks away without saying a word.

Kate is sitting at Shannon’s grave; she is very stressed out emotional.  Sayid comes over and hangs a bead necklace on the grave marker. {Shannon and Boone’s markers both have necklaces. 3 grave markers.}
Kate apologizes to him for missing the funeral as she had to be with Sawyer.   Sayid wonders why she isn’t with him now.
Kate with tears in her eyes says, “Because I’m going crazy.”
Indifferent Sayid looks at her like-”Really?!”
Kate - “Do you believe in ghosts, Sayid?"
Sayid looking a bit distant states, “I saw Walt in the jungle just before Shannon was shot. Does that make me crazy?"
And just like that with his information delivered he gets up and walks away without saying a word.
{Flash Whoosh}
Kate is cuffed in the marshal’s car. He tells her it’s a long drive back to the arraignment and wonders if she’s comfy. {It's nighttime and pouring rain.}   Kate doesn’t reply but Edward seems amused by his catching Kate. He asks her "why now".
Kate-“What?”
Edward-“Nice, corn fed farm girl like yourself… no history of violence, straight A's, no record, couple of speeding tickets. I just got to wonder, why'd you kill him now? {No response} Oh, right, yeah, don't tell me. You wouldn't want to incriminate yourself. Not after you were so smart planning it. That jury back in Iowa sure ain't going to get hung up on pre-meditation. And a gas leak. Come on, it's… its amateur hour from top to bottom.”
Kate-“Sounds like you've got it all figured out.“
Edward-“ I do have you all figured out. {He has a band aid across the bridge of his nose.}
Kate-“You don't know anything about me."
Edward-“White trash mom divorces dad, starts up with some guy who's a drinker. Then he knocks her around a little bit, and so she marries him, because, you know, that's what happens. And then this drunk, this Wayne, he moves into your house, and you get to lay there every night and listen to him doing your mom right there in your daddy's old bedroom.  And even that wouldn't be so bad if he didn't beat her up all the time. But she… loves him. She defends him. If that don't make a person want to kill somebody I don't know what does. But the question is… now, why now? Why after all these years did you just decide to blow poor Wayne up? He come knocking on your door late at night?”
Kate looks in him the eye and tells him, “He never touched me.”


Edward is looking at Kate and then directly looks to the lighter to light his cigarette never looking at the road and a horse crosses their path and the car crashes. Edward is knocked out, of course.



Kate takes the keys {looks just like when the plane was going down on crash day. } but the marshal wakes up and they fight until she literally kicks him out of the car. {Good thing that door opened}
Cuffed Kate watches a black horse head into the tall grass and then stunned Kate drives off.

In the computer room Michael asks Locke “But, why can’t you just put the numbers in now”
Locke-“No. It doesn’t work that way. The alarm goes off at 4 minute {timer shows 24-23} You can’t type anything till then.”
He demonstrates that even when typing 5 characters, it doesn’t change anything.
Michael wants to know if Locke minds if he checks out some of the hardware. {Is he a computer expert too?!}
Locke- "Sure…Just don't break it."
Locke leaves Michael alone and walks into the kitchen area where sits Eko is sitting at the table waiting.
Locke-“Hello again.”
Eko politely says hello, “I have something I think you should see.”
Locke sits opposite Eko.   If Locke doesn’t mind Eko will begin at the beginning. Locke is cool with that.
Eko- "Long before Christ the king of Judah was a man named Josiah.”
Locke- “Boy when you say beginning, you mean… beginning.”
Eko- “At that time the temple where the people worshiped was in ruin. And so the people worshiped idols, false gods. And so the kingdom was in disarray. Josiah, since he was a good king, sent his secretary to the treasury and said, 'We must rebuild the temple. Give all of the gold to the workers so that this will be done.' But when the secretary returned, he had no gold. And when Josiah asked why this was, the secretary replied… ‘We found a book.’ Do you know this story?”
Locke- “No, I'm afraid I don't.”


Eko-“What the secretary had found was an ancient book. The Book of Law. You may know it as the Old Testament. And it was with that ancient book, not with the gold, that Josiah rebuilt the temple. On the other side of the island we found a place much like this, and in this place we found a book. {He unwraps the book and presents it to Locke.} I believe what's inside there will be of great value to you.”
Locke opens the book and it is revealed a square has been cut out deep into the pages and hiding the missing pieces of the film. Locke is stunned as he looks at the film and Eko is pleased.

Hurley comes across Jack chopping wood.
Hurley –“Hey….So…Rose’s husband’s white. Didn’t see that one coming.”  
Hurley doesn’t need anything he’s just out taking a walk and thought he’s say hey. Hurley wonders who’s taking care of Sawyer and Jack informs him Sun is.
Hurley-"So, you're like, mad at him?"
Jack laughs- "Why would I be mad at Sawyer?"
Hurley- "Maybe because he's usually the one who comes down here chops wood, and now you are, it's like transference."
Jack asks Hurley if he’s a shrink now. Hurley shares that’s what they call it in the mental hospital.

Sun is watching over Sawyer and is crushing up pills between two spoons. Kate shows up asking where Jack is. Sun doesn’t know, “He didn’t come back.”
Kate wonders if Sawyer said anything, Sun says no because he’s still sleeping, “Can you watch him?” Sun heads out.
{Flash Whoosh}
Army Recruiting office to see her "father", SGT Sam Austen, who is a Military recruiter. {Recruiter! Also note sign “Build Your Future".}  Sam Austen tells her the authorities are looking for her, she tells him she's been waiting outside for two hours and they’re not there.
Kate reveals she was making a scrapbook, a surprise for his birthday, so
she called his C.O. for pictures of him in uniform. The pictures he sent her had dates on the back revealing he was in Korea until four months before she was born. She wants to know why he never told her that Wayne was her father. Sam says he didn't because he knew she'd kill him, and her mother loved him.
He cries, “You were five years old I wanted to take you along with me, she wouldn't let me"


Kate- "Why didn't you kill him?"
Sam- "Because I don't have murder in my heart."
{Note Sayid in handcuffs on the TV in the background}
This statement hits Kate and she gets up to leave. Realizing Sam will have to call “them” she asks for 1 hour head start for her run.

They hug and cry goodbye. {Was Wayne privy to Kate's role? Yeah.}
{Flash Whoosh}
Kate sits next to sleeping Sawyer, “Can you hear me?...Sawyer.”
Kate moves in closer, “Wayne.”
Sawyer stirs a bit and Kate continues, “I’m probably crazy…and this doesn’t matter. Maybe you’re in there. Somehow…but you asked me a question. You asked me why I…why I did it…I wasn’t cause you drove my father away…or the way you looked at me. Or because you beat her. It was cause I hated that you were a part of me. That I would never be good, that I would never have anything good…And every time that I look at Sawyer every time that I feel something for him, I see you, Wayne and it makes me sick." With that Sawyer wakes up, "That’s about the sweetest thing I ever heard. Who the hell's Wayne?"
She's very happy he's awake!
Sawyer realizing he’s in a bunk bed asks, "Are we saved?"
Kate whispers-“No, Sawyer. Not yet.”
{Who was Kate talking to here, the marshal or Wayne? And if she hates that Sawyer resembles/is like Wayne, why does she love him so much? Hmm?}

Eko and Locke are in the computer room.
{You need to pay attention to how Eko is looking at focused Locke through this!}

Locke is re-editing the missing pieces back into the film. “What are the odds? {He has Eko hold part of the film down} mean think about it, somebody made this film…somebody cut this piece out. We crash…2 halves of the same plane fall in different parts of the Island, You’re over there, I’m over here. And now here’s the missing piece right where it belongs. What are the odds?”
Eko-“Don’t mistake coincidence for fate.”
{Then what’s the big deal about giving Locke the missing pieces of the film?}

Kate walks Sawyer around the messy Dharma Swan kitchen. He can’t believe his surroundings. Kate informs him “Airlock's over this way.”
Happy Sawyer wants Kate to admit they’ve been rescued.
Kate opens the creaky door that leads them to the jungle. Sawyer realizes they’re still on the Island, “Home sweet home.”
He thought Kate was yankin' his chain. {Sarah says the same line to Jack after her accident.}
Kate is smiling at him, “You need a haircut.”
Something catches Sawyer’s eye behind Kate,”Maybe you outta take me back inside.”
Kate turns to see the horse ”You see that?”
Sawyer sees the big ass horse standing in the jungle. Kate slowly walks over and pets the horse. Then it’s just walks off. {The horse is can be seen by both of them and Kate can touch it. It looks pretty real to me. 3 dimensional or does she only think she can touch it?}

Sawyer-“You know that horse, Freckles?”
Kate-“Yeah, I do.”
{Fucking care to share?! Who or what is it?! Does it represent the marshal?}



Ana Lucia sits alone by the crashing waves carving a spear.   Jack walks over with four tiny bottles of Tequila and no tonic, because they’re running a little low on mixers.  {Where the hell did he get those?! Not Dharma labels.}
Jack figured she could use a drink, “I know I could.”
Ana asks if he’s going to try to convince her that everyone there doesn’t hate her.
Jack-“Only if you’re gonna try to convince me that every woman in the world’s not crazy.” 
{No, Jack. Only the chicks on the “Island” are crazy.}

Michael is in the computer room checking out the equipment, while the audio of the film playing nearby clearly can be heard by him.

Marvin Candle-“When the alarm sounds, you or your partner must input the code. It is highly recommended that you and your partner take alternating shifts. In this manner you will stay as fresh and alert {Edit} utmost importance that when the alarm sounds the code be entered correctly, and in a timely fashion. Do not attempt to use the computer {Edit} for anything else other than the entering of the code. This is its only function. The isolation that attends the duties associated with Station 3 may tempt you to try and utilize the computer for communication with the outside world. This is strictly forbidden. Attempting to use the computer in this manner will compromise the integrity of the project and, worse, could lead to another incident. I repeat, do not use the computer for anything other than entering the code. Congratulations. Until your replacements arrive, the future of the project is in your hands.”
Before Locke stops the film he looks a bit confused.
At 51 minutes the alarm "dings" on the timer. {One ding at a time.} Michael, who is investigating the wires, looks up at the timer. {Did Locke and Eko not hear anything?}
Michael sees a message on the computer screen-“HELLO?”
Michael’s game, so he replies- HELLO?” {Michael is wearing a lovely plaid shirt}
The computer-“Who is this?”
Michael-“THIS IS MICHAEL. WHO IS THIS?”
After a couple of seconds…
The Computer-“DAD?”
Michael looks confused at the blurry word "dad".






What Kate Did is a great episode! It's like the Castaways' are in therapy!

Things to Note...Questions to ask...
* Eyes.
* I.D. No I.D. No Record. No History. Is it that they have no identity here on the “Island” or is it a metaphor for not knowing their “true self??”
* Remember. Forget.
* Crazy. Driving me nuts. Mental Hospital.
* Hallucination. Illusion. Image.
* Computer. Type. Numbers. Microcomputer processor. Wires. Code.
* Kate and Sawyer both see the horse as Shannon and Sayid both saw Walt.
* Kate leans over Sawyer and the marshal {Tabula Rasa} and they choke her.
* Kate's step dad and Jack's dad are drinkers.
* Sayid and Sawyer profess their love for Shannon and Kate.
* Is Sam Austen another Dharma recruiter, recruiting people to help rebuild something on the island; a temple maybe. Or just to keep the project going?
* Why does Kate pull away from Jack after the kiss? Does she realize that shouldn't have happened? Is it because she has feelings for Sawyer? Is she remembering a past island visit that she shared with Jack perhaps? Is it something from her childhood? Is it because they're more like Luke and Leia? It would just be wrong!
While I'm having a Star Wars moment, let’s remember the Jedi purge! lol
* Jack and his need to include "the Others" into their camp. He must be the one who invited Ana there and we also know he invites Juliet, , but why? Is he the INN keeper?
* When Jack finally caught up to "Christian" in the jungle in White Rabbit.
* How is the computer letting Michael type things besides the code?  Didn't Michael just hear the instructions on the new piece of the film? Why is he breaking the rules? Are we correctly assuming that Michael is in the computer room simultaneously while Locke and Eko are re-watching the new footage? Is it even really Walt trying to communicate with him? Why doesn't Walt just show himself to Michael? Why use a 20 year old computer to talk to your "father" when you can just friggin show yourself? I call fucking shenanigans!
Jack contacts what we're to believe is the “outside world” in the season 3 finale. Does the shit hit the fan? Does that lead to another incident?
* Locke mentions 2 halves. Two halves being brought together to make one. Is this about biology, genetics, DNA or creation of a Lostie. Or is this about two halves (sides) of a person?
* The missing film piece is telling them certain rules.
* Is there a book that not only has rules in it but also guidelines, directions and maybe even cheats.
* Is this story of Josiah any correlation to what's going on with the Island? People following the wrong guy.
* Roster= list of names
* Movie. Film. Frame. Edits.
* Value. Odds.
* Laws=Rules
* Black. White. 2 sides.
* Locke and Michael’s perception of what info they are getting out of the orientation film is different.
* Michael is tempted by the computer.
* Kate…a mastermind. Also it sounds like she is "made" to never have anything good, etc..
* Hurley.


Vocabulary and Research...
* Ticket comes up a lot our story, I type it in bold every time. I was looking at 'ticket' in the obvious sense, until this episode. Then I had a revelation! The other meaning for ticket is 'list of candidates'. In this episode we are given clues to lists with roster and ticket. Recruits are list of candidates.
* Transference- is a phenomenon in psychoanalysis characterized by unconscious redirection of feelings for one person to another.
* Zen proverb- "Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water."
* Horse- slang term for heroin.



Are things that some of them see just "trigger points" for them to remember things or to set into motion certain events to happen? Are the trigger points objects/props only shown to certain people? Let’s look at what could be "trigger points"… like the black horse, the drug plane, Virgin Mary statues, heroin, Christian, Dave, songs, etc.. Damn more things to think about!

Some of these people just want to be free but they need to save themselves first.

Do not mistake coincidence for fate… Ah, but here everything happens for a reason!

I don't claim to catch every single detail either. You all know I hate spoilers, and I stand clear of reading certain sites as to not take me off my own course of research. The one thing I don't need to do here is rehash all of the obvious clues from an episode, we all know what they are. Understood? Good. Let the fun begin! I'll only note things that I know come up as clues later, but need to be noted when they first show up and things I find that will be of importance. It will get very exciting as we progress into the story.
